Josephine Moore, 91, Burlington, died 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at her home in Burlington. She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Fairmount to Henry N. and Grace (Nicholson) Brookshire. She married John L. Moore on Sept. 24,1938. He died on Nov. 9, 1985.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker & farm wife. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1937. She was a member of Burlington Faith Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth E. (Carolyn) Moore, Kokomo, John R. (Susan) Moore, Frankfort, Stan A. Moore, Frankfort, and Steve B. Moore, Burlington; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Wilma Grace Moore; and three brothers.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stout & Son Funeral Home Neptune Chapel, 44 Michigan St. Burlington, with Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday the funeral home.
