5th Vermont Volunteers - Civil War

Photos given to Dr. Dan L. C. Colburn, Asst. Surgeon of the 5th Vermont Volunteers in the Civil War. He married his 1st cousin, Ruth Cordelia Royce. (their mothers were sisters) Dan and Ruth had no children. The photos were passed down to their niece, Lotta Viola (Story) Hersey, daughter of Ruth's half-sister, Marsaline Delia (White) Story... then to Lotta's daughter, Ruth Marsaline (Hersey)Cooper... then to her son, Timothy George Cooper.
