Corporal Steven Michalski died in Vietnam on April 5,1969, he was a member of D Company 1/22nd Battalion 4th Infantry Division. He wore the Combat Infantry Badge and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He died as result of multiple fragmentation wounds during a fire fight with the Vietnamese. His tour of duty began on November 16, 1968.
