Mrs. Joanna Tobias of South Gibson died at the home of her son, Dr. John Tobias, in Wilkes-Barre, on March 28, 1911. She was 84 years of age. Her maiden name was Daniels. She was survived by another son, W. D. Tobias of California. She was the widow of the late David Tobias and a sister of Mrs. Thomas Reynolds of this place, and an aunt of Benjamin, George and John Maxey. Funeral at the Welsh Hill Church. Interment in Welsh Hill Cemetery.
