Mrs. Jeanette Czereck, of Seymour Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 27, 1987, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in the Mayflower section of Wilkes-Barre, residing most of her life in Wilkes-Barre Township, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine Sobocinski Prymankiewicz.
She attended Wilkes-Barre city schools and had been employed at L&A Dress Company, retiring in June of 1986.
She was a member of Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre.
She and her husband, Leo, would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary April 19th.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Helen Gruskiewicz, Mrs. Mary Nastanski, Mrs. Wanda Delikat, Mrs. Sophie Seward and Mrs. Frances Sutch.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Leo Jr., at home, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from Jendzewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Requiem Mass at 9:30 in Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Requiem prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Thaddeus Dymkowski officiating.
