She was born on March 29, 1938, in Quincy, the daughter of Gerald and Vivian Trusley Masters. She married William Dennis Casey on Jan. 12, 1956, in Quincy. He died in 1973.
Shirley was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed TV and shopping. However, her No. 1 concern was her family.
She is survived by four children, Sherrie Lohman and her husband, Philip, of Quincy, Karrie Casey of Quincy, Ronald Casey of Quincy and Russell Casey of Festus, Mo.; six grandchildren, Tina Rosenstengle and her husband, Justin, Martha Chezem and her husband, William, Matthew Lohman and his wife, Tasia, Karrie Russell and her husband, Bill, Khristina E. Pepper and her significant other, David Tieken and Marlena Pepper and her significant other, Albert Finney Jr.; 21 grandchildren; three sisters, Wilma Powell, Geraldine Schoonover, and Elsie Melton; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Linda Ditto; along with numerous other family members.
SERVICES: 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
