Mr. James Jimmy Bell, 79, of Buffalo, N.Y., died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Millard Fillmore Grater Hospital in Buffalo. Funeral services are scheduled Wednesday, July 7 at Wehadkee Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke at noon CDT with the Rev. Elijah Jackson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Wehadkee Church Cemetery. Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Mozelle Bell of LaFayette; three sons, Donald Bell and J.T. Bell of LaFayette and Alvin (Alvetta) Bell of Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Debra Wilson of Roanoke and Dorothy Bell of LaFayette; one brother, Leroy (Betty) Bell Sr. of Anniston; three sisters, Carrie Jones of Roanoke, Betty Richardson of Atlanta and Lera Bell of Roanoke; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Public viewing hours will be observed at Clark Memorial Funeral Service in Roanoke from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the funeral services. Clark Memorial Funeral Service of Roanoke is handling arrangements.
