Miss Kiger was a 1971 graduate of Chartiers Houston High School. She was a lifetime member of the Meadowlands UM Church, where she was a member of the choir, UMW Women, Pastor Parish Committee and Card Ministry, and was active in Sunday School.
She was employed as a travel agent for Royal Travel of Washington and was formerly employed at Pastries by John in Washington. She was an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society, serving on the Relay for Life Committee.
She is survived by her father; three sisters, Hazel Bradshaw of Claysville, Cynie Murray of Patagonia, AZ, and Jackie Butenschoen of Marengo, IL, a brother, Dick Kiger of Waynesburg, PA.
