Carolyn was a 1966 graduate of Bassick High School and a member of the Mission Guild of the Silliman Memorial Baptist Church. She was a resident of Fairfield five years.
She is survived by her father, Albert P. Mehlhouse; mother, Carolyn and her husband Louis Kundrath; a son, William E. Artman, Jr. of Fairfield; two brothers, Albert Walter Mehlhouse of Stratford and Robert J. Mehlhouse of Milford; two half brothers, James P. Millhouse and John T. Barnhart; a half sister, Ruthann Caiola; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest W. Artman and Norma L. (Morgan) Artman; two nieces, Dawn Mehlhouse of Stratford and Kimberly Mehlhouse of Milford; and a nephew, Donald Mehlhouse of Stratford.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Ernest Artman, whom she married on March 30, 1968.
