He is preceded in death by his children, Shirley Ann Switzer, Ricky Lynn Switzer and Jerry Don Switzer; his parents; and two sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel Switzer of Odessa; son, Robert Wayne Switzer of Odessa; daughter, Pat Vogt and husband, Clarence of Odessa; brothers, Edmond Switzer of Alvin, Ray Switzer of Bangs, and Otis Switzer of Santa Fe, Texas; sisters, Ida Lee Jackson of San Antonio, Nell Yancy of Santa Fe, Texas, and Jane Lovelady of Spicewood seven grandchildren; six great-grand-children; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Burial will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Santa Anna Cemetery in Santa Anna, Texas.
