Ida Lee Jackson age 89 of San Antonio, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 5:50 am at the Paramount Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was born February 24, 1921 in Valley View, Texas to the late Arthur E. and Maggie M. Baird Switzer. Ida Lee was raised in Coleman County where she attended the Leaday Schools. On April 7, 1940 she married Otis Daymond Jackson in Santa Anna and they celebrated fifty seven years of marriage. Daymond preceded her in death in 1998. Ida Lee was a former resident of Santa Anna & Coleman and had been a resident of San Antonio since 2002. She was a member of the Baptist Church, a homemaker and retired from Holiday Hill Nursing Home in 1995 where she had worked as a nurses aide.
