At Home Here
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Morton, aged Sayre resident who died at her home on North Broadway Wednesday evening at 7:30 p. m. were held Thursday afternoon from the residence with Rev. W. T. Cost officiating.
Mrs. Morton came to Sayre in 1923 from Herring and had made her home here since that time. She was born January 14, 1857.
Mrs. Morton had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ida Nowlin and three sons, W. W. Morton, J. V. Morton and Jack Morton.
Interment was in Red Hill cemetery at Hammon with Littrell-Scroggins in charge.
