Suggested edit: Albert Raymond Van Sickle was the son of John Burr Van Sickle and Olive A. Hudnall. We was the oldest son and the third oldest over all. In 1900 he was living with his parents in Chapman, Nebraska.

On 1 Jan 1908 he married Mabel Fern Gilmer in Central City, Nebraska. In October of that year, daughter Ila was born. In 1910 we have Albert, Mabel and Ila living in Loup, Merrick, Nebraska. Albert was a farmer at this time. Son Raymond (Verle) was born in Feb 1911. On 10 May 1912 Albert's father dies.

By 1915 the family has moved to Laramie, Albany, Wyoming. Albert was working as a brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad. In May 1918 Alice is born, Aug 1919 Mary is born.

They then move to 265 N. 5th Street, in Laramie, by 1920. Ila and Verle are now going to school.
Dec 1921 Nathaniel (Clair) is born, Aug 1923 Albert Raymond Jr. is born. October 1924 Mabel is pregnant.

8 Nov 1924 - Agent Curry (prohibition officer) and a Laramie officer, go to the home to deliver a warrant for bootlegging. Albert Sr. opens fire on the officer, then on then on Agent Curry. Agent Curry fires back, wounding Albert Sr. The next morning Albert Sr. dies, he is then buried in Chapman, Nebraska.
In July 1925, Albert Sr's last child is born, Richard Milton, he then passes away in Aug 1925.
