Joe Gregory was born Jan. 29, 1908, in Thurber, and moved to Poland at the age of 13. He returned to Texas at age 18 and married Elizabeth Wruble in 1931. He worked at Armour Meat Company as a foreman for 37 years. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church, SOKOL Lodge No. 154 and SPJST Ladies Circle. He was strong in his faith, a loving husband, devoted family man and will deeply missed by all.
Survivors: Wife of 68 years, Elizabeth Gregory; son, John Gregory of Fort Worth; daughters, Alice Hunter of Haltom City, Babe Harlow and her husband, Johnny of Possum Kingdom Lake; sister, Mary Pulaski of Plainville, Ct.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
