James Franklin Haley, Jr.

Services for James Franklin Haley, Jr., 32, a resident of #4 Owl Lane, East Prairie, were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 1997, at the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie, with Bro. Richard Farquhar, pastor of the Freewill Baptist Church of East Prairie, officiating. Burial followed in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.

Mr. Haley died Monday, December 1, 1997 in Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 17, 1965, in East Prairie, son of James Franklin and Kathern Guthrie Haley, Sr., of East Prairie. He had lived in Mississippi County all of his life, where he was employed by Asgrow Seed Co. near Matthews.

On January 27, 1986, he married Donna Moore, who survives of Charleston.

Other survivors include two daughters, Candice Lynn Haley and Frankie Mychelle Haley, both of Charleston; two sisters, Kathy Shirl Johnson and Mary Ellen Ditto, both of East Prairie; and his maternal grandmother, Vester Guthrie of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by one nephew.
