Mrs. Frances Slapinski died yesterday at the home of her son, Joseph, Mountain Top, where she had resided 16 years.
Mrs. Slapinski was a cousin of the late Rev. Casimir Krzywicki, whose funeral was held yesterday from St. Mary's Church, Park Avenue.
She was the widow of John Slapinski, who died 16 years ago, and formerly resided in Sugar Notch and the Heights section of Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of Holy Cross Polish National Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Milecwski, Milwaukee, Wis., a brother, Matthew Kunkel, Hartford, Conn.; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Friday at 9 from the home at Mountain Too, with requiem mass at 10 in Holy Cross Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Stanton Hill.
