Mr. Grover W. Kadow, 94, of 205 Randolph Street, Mishicot, died Monday evening,
March 9, 1987, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Mishicot. Rev. David Waege will officiate and burial will be in the Mishicot
Public Cemetery.
Mr. Kadow was born November 19, 1892, at Mishicot, son of the late Joseph and
Mary Ploeckelmann Kadow. He married Nora Stueck in 1923 and she preceded him in
death in 1956. In November, 1958, he married Dora Krueger Wolfmeyer. Mr. Kadow
established, owned and operated Kadow Heating and Plumbing in Mishicot since 1927.
He was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Kadow was a member of St. Peter Evangelical
Lutheran Curch, Mishicot Magic Organization and the Mishicot Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his wife, Dora; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carol Kadow
of Mishicot; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Ray Strouf of Manitowoc and
Marie and William Ulbreich of West Allis; a brother, Lee Kadow of Mishicot; a
sister, Mrs. Herbert Meineke of Mishicot; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren,
8 step-grandchildren and 3 great step-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Marvin Alten
of Chilton; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Sanford and Jean Wolfmeyer of
Mishicot and Dr. Waldemar and Alice Wolfmeyer of Kaukauna; a stepdaughter and
son-in-law, Danalgene and LaRue Campvell (sic) of Manitowoc. He was preceded in
death by a daughter, Margie, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 4 p.m. Thursday and
Friday at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of services. Memorials may be made
to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.
