Mary Witkowski, of Maffett Street, Plains Township, died Monday morning at home.

Born and raised in Plains, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Slabajewski Casper.

She was educated in Plains Township schools

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Hudson section of Plains.

She was employed by Leslie Fay Co., Kingston, retiring in 1977.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, in 1949; brothers, ~Anthony and Charles Casper; and sisters, Catherine Casper and Mrs. Nell Festa.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Dorothy) Rembish, Maryland; sons, Joseph, Hunlock Creek; Leonard, Spring Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Sophie Willis and Helen Casper, both of Plains; Mrs. Anna Holodick, San Diego; and brother, George Casper, Plains.

Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Thursday from Michael J. Mikelski Funeral Home, 293 S. River St., Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Hudson.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Hudson.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Wednesday

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today by the Rev. Victor C. Zawadzki.
