Sister Jeanne Aylwin, SSS
Sister Jeanne passed away at the General Infirmary of Les Petites Franciscaines de Marie in Baie-Saint-Paul, on February 5, 2012, at the age of 90.
A native of Saint-Louis de Nédelec, Témiscamingue, Québec, Jeanne Aylwin was the daughter of Émile and Marie-Louise (Darveau) Aylwin. Sister Jeanne had been professed 68 years in the Congrégation des Servantes du Très Saint-Sacrement and resided at 65, Ambroise-Fafard in Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec.
She was survived, in addition to members of her congrégation, Sr Cécile SSS, Sr Thérèse SSS, Jacques (Jacqueline Gariepy), Sr Denise SSS, Jules (Marcelle Breton), Jean-Louis, Ulric, Sr Suzanne SSS, François-Raymond, her nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Her congrégation and family sincerely thank Les Petites Franciscaines de Marie for the good lavished cares to sister Jeanne.
The funeral of Sister Jeanne Aylwin took place on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Chapelle du Sacré-Coeur of the Motherhouse in Baie-Saint-Paul. The funeral mass was celebrated and interment occurred in cemetery of Les Petites Franciscaines de Marie.
