Mrs. Dorothea (Dot) Inez Williams Blakely, age 92, of Atlanta, a lovely Christian lady, died February 3, 2011. Mrs. Blakely was the widow of Thomas Pinckney Blakely, Jr., and the daughter of Marvin Davidson Williams and Rubye Estelle Hall Williams, Atlanta. Preceded in death by her sister Marvina Williams Puckett. Survivors include sister, Harriette Williams Flynt, daughter, Barbara Blakely Chastain, Atlanta; son, Thomas Pinckney Blakely, III, Atlanta; grandchildren: Ami Lynn Blakely Huff, Thomas Troy Chastain, Benjamin Blakely Chastain, and Maxwell Davidson Chastain. Great grandchildren: Kathryn Michelle Chastain, Blakely Nichole Chastain, William James Chastain, Grace Blakely Huff, Matthew Blakely Chastain, and Richard Franklin Chastain. Mrs. Blakely was a 1937 graduate of Girls High School, Atlanta, a member of Second Ponce De Leon Baptist Church, retired auditor with Sears, co-owner of Best-Ad Advertising and Printing Company, Atlanta. Member of the Fort Peachtree Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; James Dunwoody Bulloch Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy; past member of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc.
