John Bruno, 71, of Bartlett, retired butcher, died Thursday, December 22, at Baptist Hospital East after a long illness.

He was a World War II Army veteran. The widower of Helen jean Bruno, he leaves four sisters, Mrs. Teresa Greene, Mrs. Mary Woodall, Ms Lydia Meredith and Mrs. Annie Dundas, all of Memphis; two brothers, George Bruno and Pete Bruno of Florida, and a sister in law, Mrs. Louise Vannucci, who helped care for him.
