Mary White Pinkston, 100, of Fayetteville, died Monday morning (April 23, 2007) in Donalson Care Center. She was a native ofBedford County and the daughter of the late Walter and VirginiaKelso White. Mrs. Pinkston was a retired bookkeeper with Borden's and Avalon Dairies and a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jane Bradford of Fayetteville; son, Mr. Sidney I. Pinkston, Jr., of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Homewith the Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband, S. I. Pinkston, who died in 1984. Memorials may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Nicaragua Missions Fund, 950 Buckner Road, Mableton, Ga., 30126.
