Mrs. Walter White, 65, Died Wednesday A. M. After Stroke -
Funeral Rites Held This Afternoon At Methodist Church --
Mrs. Virginia Dana Kelso White, 65, wife of Walter White, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. I. Pinkston, on the Mulberry Road Wednesday morning at 2:30 o'clock following a paralytic stroke suffered some two months ago. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary Chilcoat Kelsoand was born and reared in Lincoln County and was a devout member of the Fayetteville Methodist Church and the funeral services will be held at the church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. T. W. Mayhew, assisted by Rev. N. Burch Tucker of Nashville with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband and four daughters, Mrs. S. I. Pinkston of Fayetteville, Mrs. J. W. Pahmeyer and Mrs. A. H. Knight, both of Chattanooga, and Mrs. Jack Marrs of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. W. S. Brazleton of Savannah, Georgia, and Mrs. L. H. Couch of Plant City, Florida; two brothers, Mayor Frank Kelso and Newton G. Kelso, both of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.
