Married Mary Kettle (1659-1746) daughter of John and Elizabeth (Allen) Kettle of Salem, MA.
Children:
Mary (1688-1689)
William (1690-1756)
Daniel 1691-1745)
Lieut. Paul Raymond (1695-1759)
He was a witness in a witchcraft case in Salem, and seems not to have been one of the deluded parties.
Killed Jan, 1701 by the fall of a tree.
(Ref: Genealogies of the Raymond families of New England, 1630-1, by Samuel Raymond.)
From the Essex, Massachusetts Probate Records, 1638-1840:
File: 23284
Name: William Rayment, Raymond, Jr.
File Date: March 10, 1701
Residence Beverly
Type: intestate
The term "Intestate" meaning that he did not have a Will.
Great Input from Graver: Joe Cochoit (#48673939)
His death was only recorded in the ''Dairy of Rev. Joseph Green of Salem Village'', - "Jan. 23 Old Mr Ray told me of a man killed killed at Beverly by ye falling of a tree. viz. William Raymond." (Historical Collections of the Essex Institute, vol. 8 (Salem, 1868): [http://tinyurl.com/ycrhejom page 219). So he died in January 1700/1, probably a few days before January 23.
