Opal Cluck, 89, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Ackerly Cemetery, Ackerly, Texas with Derrick Looney, officiating.

She was born October 16, 1923, in Morgan, Texas, and married Norman William Cluck August 22, 1942 in Old Glory, Texas. He preceded her in death March 11, 1997.

Opal was a longtime resident of Ackerly and was a farmer's wife. She enjoyed crafts, especially making personalized cards, and never missed anyone's anniversary or birthday.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ackerly.

Survivors include one son, Benny Cluck and wife, Lynn of Big Spring; three grandchildren, Kara Shawver and husband, Joey of Jacksboro, Jon Cluck and wife, Samantha of Big Spring and Joel Cluck of Breckenridge; and six great-grandchildren, Abigail Riordan, Mason Cluck, Madison Cluck, Shyler Shawver, Shayla Shawver and Waylon Cluck.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
