Mrs. Alease B. Armistead, age 65 of Nathalie, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 in South Boston. She was the daughter of the late Lee Grant Boyd and Sallie Stewart Boyd. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George Palmer, Thomas Boyd, and Ronnie Lee Boyd. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Terry; son, MacArthur Lewis; grandson, Bruce Terry, Jr. "BJ", all of Nathalie; sister, Dorothy Mae Boyd of Nathalie; brother, Bradshaw (Nancy) Palmer of Ft. Washington, MD; aunts, Rebecca Lane and Sallie Boyd, both of Nathalie; sisters-in-law, Vernester Boyd and Mary Boyd of Nathalie; god daughters, Patricia Lindsey and Rengia Hargrove; devoted cousins, Linda Miller, Lucille Anderson, Elizabeth Hunt; close friend, Evon Stovall; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Republican Grove Baptist Church in Nathalie with interment in the church cemetery.
