Funeral services were held Monday morning at nine o'clock from St Mary's Catholic church for the late Leo L Gahan who died suddenly of a heart attack while in Chicago on Thursday, March 14. Rev Wm Smits officiated. Mr Gahan who has been making his home in Milwaukee the past several years, was born in White Creek, Wisconsin on September 29, 1878. He was married in this city to Miss Amelia Peterson in 1900. Two children were born to Mr & Mrs Gahan, one daughter, Lillian, having passed away a number of years ago, and Dr R L Gahan of Pewaukee, Wis. Mr & Mrs Gahan were residents of Tomahawk about twenty years and after leaving this city they resided in LaCrosse and their present home is in Milwaukee. Deceased is survived by his wife and son, a sister, Mrs Frank Erickson of Grand Rapids, MI; two brothers, John of this city and Geo. R Gahan of Kalamazoo, MI and one granddaughter. Interment was made in Calvary cemetery. The pallbearers were nephews of the deceased; Ambrose Gahan, Ben Gahan, Frank Dewing, and Art Dewing of Tomahawk, William Gahan of Milwaukee and Tom Gahan of Port Washington.
