It is believed that William H. Harris was born to Mary (unknown) and James F. Harris in Smithbank, PA in 1861. William's father immigrated from Wales and the family has a true copy of his Naturalization in 1868 from Mercer Co, PA. It is known for sure that William married Margaret Lewis on 19 Sept 1881 in Girard, OH. Maggie and William had James in 1882, Margaret in 1884, Fred William in 1887 and Mary in 1892. William passed away just shortly after Mary's birth at the age of 32. Baby Mary passed away in 1893.
