EDMONTON — Novia Marie (Patsy) Sims, 78, of Edmonton, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Daisy Myrtle Grider Love. She was retired from the Metcalfe County Extension Agents office and a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Sims of Edmonton; one sister, Maedell Walker of Edmonton; one sister-in-law, Marcella Love of Edmonton; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Ray Sims; four brothers, Preston, Bob, Adrie and Ray Maxie Love, and one sister, Aileen Durette.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
