She is survived by her husband, Philip Sims of Edmonton; one sister, Maedell Walker of Edmonton; one sister-in-law, Marcella Love of Edmonton; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Ray Sims; four brothers, Preston, Bob, Adrie and Ray Maxie Love, and one sister, Aileen Durette.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
