Robert K. (Bob) Love age 82 of Edmonton died Tuesday, September, 16,
2009 at his home at Edmonton. He was the son of the late Fred and Myrtle Grider
Love. Bob was a World War II Army veteran, member of the Pleasant Hill Church
of Christ and had owned and operated Sun Valley Oil Company in Edmonton for
forty five years. He was also a charter member of the Mid Kentucky Antique Car
Association.
He is survived by his exwife and devoted caregiver Christine
Love of Scottsville. Four children. Cindy (Richard) Young of Edmonton. Robin
Love of Gallatin, TN. Tracy (Tammy) Love of Bowling Green and Tony Love of
Louisville. Five grandchildren. John Fred Young, Victoria Love, Andrea Love,
Grace Love and Savanna Love. Three sisters. Alyne Durette of Cincinnati,
Maydell Walker of Columbia and Patsy Sims of Edmonton. One brother. Preston
Love of South Bend, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Adrie Love.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2009
at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
