Hazel Dyer Caldwell, 83, died on October 10, 2011.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 64 years, Conley (C.B.) Caldwell; and three devoted children and their spouses, Marvin Caldwell (Barbara), Diane Glover (Russell) and Cheryl Hammock (T.G.). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Hazel was also blessed to have Esther Gill as her loving caregiver. Hazel grew up in Chesterfield and was a graduate of Manchester High School. She was a longtime member of Branch's Baptist Church and retired from Virginia Power/Dominion Resources in 1986 after 26 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday October 12, at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 13, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
