Born in Jerusalem, Father Antoun was sent to the Propaganda Fide College in Rome and was ordained to the priesthood at Calvary, Jerusalem, in 1856, after facing a lengthy illness. Professor at the Minor Seminary of Beit Jala, his Ordinary assigned him as chaplain to the Catholic Armenian Pacha and his family in 1861. Successively, he served as vicar of Beit Jala and curate in Ramallah. Father Antoun passed away at the French Hospital in Jerusalem, aged 82.
