Cheryl Dewey Anderson
1954 -2012

Cheryl's life was filled with love. She was loved and she loved us. She has gone now from us and left us with many warm and happy memories and experiences. I think she would agree that her greatest accomplishments and joys were found in her interaction with her children and grandchildren. She had many other successes and impacted many other lives as well.

She was born on August 29, 1954 to Wade and Lorna Dewey in Ithaca, New York. Her family later moved to North Logan, Utah where she grew up. This is where she met her husband Dave Anderson and they were married. Their marriage was later solemnized in Provo Temple.

As a young mother she was busy raising 5 children and moved from Provo to Salt Lake and finally to Bountiful where she has resided for the last 28 years. This is where she passed away on December 4, 2012.
When she was in her forties she went back to school and graduated with a degree in Interior design from LDS Business College, later in her career she taught as an adjunct instructor at Salt Lake Community College. She worked in this field for 12 years and was consulting on projects of her own or working with various design firms. Her great talent was in color theory.
She served faithfully in many callings in the LDS church most of the time with the youth in primary and young women's organization.
Had she lived longer, we know she would have accomplished many more good and virtuous things, but no matter how long she lived she couldn't have been a better Mother, Wife, or Grandmother, nor could she have raised a finer family.
Thank You Cheryl…we love you.
She is survived by husband David L Anderson, son Trevis (Michele), son Spencer (Maren), daughter Jessica Soto (Abraham), son Marshall (Amber), son Preston (Melissa), father Wade G Dewey, brother Steven Dewey (Chris), brother Neal Dewey (Loreita) and 15 grandchildren. She is with all of her loved ones that have preceded her.

She has asked to express special appreciation to Stacey and Carolyn, her hospice nurses and to all of the artists from Punctured Piercing and Tattoo for their thoughtful kindness.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Val Verda 6th Ward Chapel, 2600 S. 500 W. Bountiful, Utah. Friends may visit family Monday, Dec. 10th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E. and Tues. from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the church prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery
