Obituary for Noah Tilton published in the "Morning Herald" (Uniontown, PA.) on 12/29/1925.

"Noah Tilton died at 3 o'clock, Monday morning, December 28, 1925 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John W. Risdon, of Byrer avenue, with whom he had made his home for the past five years. Mr. Tilton, who was ___ years of age last May 3, remained active until the past three weeks when he was suffering from complications of diseases. Mr. Tilton was born on a farm near Tiltonville, Ohio, and lived there until he came her five years ago. His wife died forty-five years ago. He was the oldest of seven children, only one, a brother, F. H. Tilton, living in Tupella, Kansas, survives. Mrs. John W. Risdon, who is the only child, survives, and her son Erallo Risdon, also survives and is the only grandchild. Pollitically, Mr. Tilton was a staunch Democrat. He was a member of the Msonic Lodge of Martin's Ferry, OH. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Tiltonville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 Tuesday evening, December 29, at the house of John W. Risdon, 62 Byrere avenue. Dr. Burr McKnight will officate. Burial will be Wednesday in the Upland cemetery at Tiltonville, Ohio."
