April 1961 - Passage. The Ogden Standard-Examiner, an Ogden, Utah newspaper on Tuesday, April 11, 1961, Page 14 published the following, "Mrs. Willie L. Gross, 72, 606 23rd, Ogden, Utah, died Monday afternoon at her home after an extended illness.
"Mrs. Gross was born March 24, 1889, in Clarksville, Tennessee, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Farrar. On February 13, 1912, she was married to N. E. Gross in Tennessee.
"She was a member of the Methodist Church.
"Surviving are her husband, one son, Robert E. Gross, Roy; five grandchildren, two brothers, Aaron Farrar, Jackson, Tennessee and Baliss Farrar, Cottage Grove, Tennessee.
"Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Chapel with the Rev. H. Preston Childress officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 and Wednesday until services. Cremation will follow."
