STARVATION CAUSES DEATH OF PEPPLER
Starvation was the cause of the death of Casper Peppler, aged 70 years, who made his home with his son in Andersonville. The decedent had suffered for a long time with an abdominal tumor, which finally became so serious that he was unable to take nourishment and he slowly starved to death in spite of the best of medical attention. Death came shortly after noon Friday. The funeral will be held from the German church at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The decedent had been in America less than a year, having emigrated from Russia.
