Ripley, MS - Marion Dale Morrison, 65, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. He was born July 22, 1947 to the late Sam and Mary Inez Chapman Morrison. He was a member of Chapman Church of Christ and a trapper.
Services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Mark Lindley officiating. Burial will be in Chapman Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion and best friend, Becky Smith of Ripley; three sisters, Lavaugn Carmichiel (Butch) of Corinth, Sandra Hopper (Ricky Joe) of Walls, and Joan Berryman (Jimmy) of Ripley; one brother, Tony Morrison (Jane) of Ripley.
Pallbearers will be Rick, Bryan and Lannie Hopper, Keith Berryman, Sammie and Lynn Carmichiel, Tracy Morrison and Timmy Hurt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Carpenter, Keylon Berryman, Stevie Carmichiel, Thad Berryman, Jerry Longoria, Clinton Morrison and Tammy Hurt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
