Violet Natishak, 86, Mayfield, passed away Monday, December 9th, at Carbondale Nursing Home, Carbondale. She was the widow of Michael Natishak Jr., who died July 5, 2012. Violet was born in Mayfield, June 21, 1926, daughter of the late Charles and Julia Totski Vilgos. She was a member of Christ the King Parish Archbald. She was formerly a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Mayfield and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society and its St. Michael's Choir. Violet formerly worked at Skippy's Restaurant, Archbald for over 25 years and she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Carbondale Nursing Home and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the loving and compassionate care they gave to Violet. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Vilgos, Eleanor Liuzzo and Veronica Gudelanis and four brothers; John, Michael, Joseph and Charles. The funeral will be Friday 9 AM from the Ryczak-Harrison Funeral Home Inc. 901 Lackawanna Ave. with mass at 9:30 AM in Christ the King Parish-St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Main St. Eynon. Interment in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery Greenfield, PA. Friends may call Thursday 5-8 pm.
