Married James M. Ladyman on Sept.20, 1883, at age 17. Permission was granted by her father, General Carol Tucker. James and Adeline had 5 children. He passed in 1930. She married David W. Damron on Aug. 4, 1938.

Adeline (as she was called by her nephews) had a sister named Sarah Tucker and a brother named Calvin Green Tucker (a bachelor known as Uncle Can by his nephews). She also had half-sisters: Cynthia Jane Tucker Vaughn and Artimus Misse Tucker Dickerson (known as Aunt Miss by her nephews) and a half-brother named Charley Delmar Tucker.
