A Minuteman, he served in Captain Samuel Eppes' Company, of Colonel Timothy Pickering's regiment on April 19, 1775, during the fights at Concord and Lexington. Son of Isaac and Abagail Wilson. His original grave was located at Northshore Shopping Center in Peabody, Massachusetts. The site was originally a small churchyard and the mall was built around it in the early 1950s. His remains were reportedly removed to Wilson Family Cemetery when the mall expanded.
