LAKE CITY: Mrs. Erma Foloines Stone, 80, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 5th, 2010.

Mrs. Stone was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on March 14th, 1930. She was a daughter of the late John Bailey Foloines and the late Mary Sue James Foloines, and was the widow of the late J.V. "Jay" Stone. Mrs. Stone was a member of Stone's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked for many years as a laboratory technician for Washington Reference Laboratories. She loved doing crossword puzzles, spending time with friends, and going to church.

Mrs. Stone's surviving family includes her son, Paul Michael Stone, (Remy), of Mt. Airy, Maryland; her grandson, Mark Stone, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her brother, John Bailey Foloines, II, of West Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stone is preceded in death by her thirteen siblings, George Davis, Fred Davis, Frank Foloines, Robert Foloines, Broddus Foloines, Fulton Foloines, Ruby Troslouw, Eloise McAllister, Edith Johnson, Phyllis Thomas, Pauline Shaull, Vera Foloines, and Kitty Foloines.

The family of Mrs. Stone will have visitation from six until eight o'clock p.m., Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 in the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stone will be held at two o'clock p.m., Wednesday, December 8th, 2010 in Stone's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
