Richard J. Carlin In Lynn at 67
Richard J. Carlin, 67, of 3 Kingsley Terr., Lynn, father of Police Inspector William Carlin of Swampscott, died yesterday at his home.
Mr. Carlin, before retirement, was employed for 15 years by the B & M Railroad and before that by Primo Mfg. of Lynn. He was a veteran of World War I.
Besides his son, he leaves a wife, Effie (Quirk); three daughters, Marion of Lynn, Beverly of Minot, N.D. and Theresa of Miami, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be offered by St. Joseph's Church, Lynn, Saturday at 2 p.m.
