Kathy was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Luther R. McIntosh, Jr. and Kathryn Kirby McIntosh Blue. She is also predeceased by her brother, Randy McIntosh.
She was a member of the Morning Glory Garden Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. Kathy worked at Bobby Gerald Ford and was owner of The Little Red School of Antiques.
Surviving are her husband, Wendell Snipes of the home; son, Thomas Wendell Snipes of Tampa, FL; daughters, Cindy Sharon Fitzgerald (Rick) of Concord, NC, and Angela Kathryn Snipes of Elgin, SC; as well as grandchildren A.J. Fitzgerald and Kathryn Fitzgerald.
