CHANUTE DAILY TRIBUNE, FEB 16, 1920

Scott V. Irwin, former resident of this city, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Hanson, in Arkansas City yesterday. The body will be brought there for burial and the funeral services will be held in the First Methodist Church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon. They will be conducted by its pastor, Rev. B. F. Gaither.
Mr. Irwin was 74 years of age. He was a clergyman and did much to establish the church in the early days of Kansas. Surviving are his widow, and six children, 4 sons and 2 daughters. The sons live in Fort Worth, Texas, Bloom, KS, Colony, KS and Wichita, the daughters in Arkansas City and Denver.
He is also survived by 3 brothers Robert Irwin of this city, James of Oilton, OK and Edwin of California.
Mr. & Mrs. Irwin made their home at 1424 South Central of this city until early last summer when they went to Arkansas City to make their home with their daughter there.
