Mr. Johnnie Doss, 103, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Camp Hill, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012, 12 Noon CST at Murray Chapel AME Zion Church in Camp Hill, AL; Reverend Dr. Linda Wright, Pastor; Rev. James Rowe; Officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Hill Cemetery in Camp Hill, AL.
Mr. Doss is survived by nine daughters: Emma Swann, Beatric Daniel, Essie M. Veasley and Marilyn Ponds all of Atlanta, GA; Girtha Hill, Jimmie L. Dowdell, Shirley Huguley, Betty Buchanan and Linda Avery all of Camp Hill, AL; six sons: John (Elder) Hill of Camp Hill, AL, Henry(Savannah)Hill of Thomasville, GA, James(Ernestine)Doss and Joseph(Eve)Doss both of Atlanta, GA; John (Vickie) Doss and Brenard Doss both of Camp Hill, AL; Forty-Eight (48) Grandchildren and Forty (40) Great-Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
