Mrs. Bessie Bonney died June 2 at a local hospital and funeral services were held Sunday, June 5 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard H. Bowling, pastor, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. J. N. Fuller and the Rev. A. D. Askew. King’s Funeral Home had charge.
