Obituary:
Killed by a Falling Tree
Last Saturday morning, Aaron Dresbach, living about one mile and a half from Kingston, went to the woods to chop some wood, and not returning at the time expected, his wife went in the afternoon to where he had been at work, found him pinned to the ground by a tree that had fallen upon him, life being entirely extinct. It seems that he had chopped one tree off, and in falling it had lodged on another. This tree he also chopped down, and in the confusion of the falling of the two trees, it is thought that he was unable to escape, and was caught by one of them and thrown to the ground, the tree falling across his chest and neck, life being crushed out of him almost instantly. He was a son of William Dresbach, of Green township, Ross county. His wife is left with several small children.
