Baldomaro Ferrer Jr., 52 of Rice, passed away March 24, 2010 in Corsicana. He was born August 2, 1957 in Corsicana to Baldomaro Ferrer Sr. and Olivia Ferrer.
Visitation services will be 6pm Friday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Arredondo Sr., Gabriel Arredando Jr., Manuel Castillo, Frank Madreno, Raul Munoz, Brandon Ferrer. Honorary pallbearer will be Luis Enrique Ferrer.
He was a member of Iglesia Bautista Calvario since he was 8 years old. He worked for the KMart Distribution Center for 22 years then worked for Rice ISD. He was a graduated of Blooming Grove High School Class of 1977. His enjoyment was doing work at the church and reading his bible. He was a very loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by mother Olivia Sendejo Ferrer.
He is survived by wife Catalina Ferrer of Rice, children Maybeth Arredondo and husband Gabriel Sr. of Corsicana, Olivia Lulu Ferrer of Rice, Luis Enrique Ferrer of Rice,father Baldomaro Ferrer Sr. of Blooming Grove, siblings Janie Cano of Harker Heights, Lucy Meneimneh of Arlington, Danny Ferrer of Rice, Delia DeLaRosa of Corsicana, Ernie Ferrer of Purdon, Amanda Ferrer DeLaCruz of San Antonio; grandchildren Gabriel Arredondo Jr., Vivian Arredondo. Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
