Olivia (Sendejo) Ferrer, 67, of Blooming Grove, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at her residence.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana with the Rev. Pentaleon P. Rios officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jose Guerra, Andres F. Cano, Jason F. Cano, Luis Castillo, Ronald Morrison and Raul Munoz. Honorary pallbearer will be Manuel Castillo.
Mrs. Ferrer was born June 4, 1933, in Hidalgo. She was a member of Iglesia Bautista Calvario since 1863. She was active in Wonem's MIssionary Union (WMU) and was a missionary in Mexico. She taught Sunday school since 1964.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jorge and Lucia G. Sendejo of Pharr and brother Ramiro Sendejo of Pharr.
She is survived by husband, Baldomaro Ferrer Sr. of Blooming Grove; sons Baldomaro Jr. and Cathy Ferrer of Rice, Daniel and Belinda Ferrer of Rice and Ernie and Stephanie Ferrer of Purdon; daughters, Juanita Ferrer and Amador Lopez Cano of Killeen, Lucy Ferrer and Walid Meneimneh of Arlington, Delia Ferrer De LaRosa of Corsicana, Amanda G. Ferrer of San Antonio; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers, Arturo Sendejo of Rosenburg, Gonzalo Sendejo of Mathis, Juan Sendejo, Willie Sendejo of McAllen; sisters Elida Sendejo de Leon of Edinburg and Eloda Rodriguez of Rio Grande.
Memorials may be made to Iglesia Bautista Calvario Church.
