She was born at Fort Covington on July 11, 1888, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bashaw. The family moved to Malone many years ago. Mr. Allen died December 16, 1953, and since that time she had been in failing health and a patient at the Reynolds Nursing Home in Burke.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edward {Gertrude) Debyah of Malone; four sons, Alex, Willis, James and George, all of Malone; three sisters, Mrs. Alonzo Mitchell of Brushton; . Mrs. Ida Allen of Malone and Mrs. Agnes Prevo of Massena; two brothers, Napoleon Bashaw of Malone, and Fred Bashaw of Brushton; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Burial was made in John Bosco Cemetery in Malone.
